My name is Kristyn Staley. I am a junior at the University of Tampa majoring in Advertising and Public Relations and a part of the universities women’s lacrosse team. Before I declared majoring in advertising and public relations, I was originally a sports management major. Soon after my first semester at UT, I realized I was no longer interested in my once upon a time dream job working with ESPN. Being an athlete since the age of 4, I have always sought out to have a career in the athletic field. Growing up, I was quickly able to learn how to be independent throughout situations and to continue with things without dwelling on them. My parent’s family business has been the staple of my family and the reason behind why we all have such a strong work ethic. This summer, I plan to intern abroad in Florence, Italy.
