SHORTHAND TONE PROJECT

For this project, I found pictures of women doing a self portrait and kept my sketches as light and as simple as I could while also being content with my drawings. Once I got into photoshop, I began playing around with some of the tools to give my sketches some light and color! As I added more color I became amused with the idea of making them semi abstract but still being able to tell that it is a person. I enjoyed using the mending of colors as well as using the liquify tool in photoshop to make the colors combine better! My middle picture after editing is my favorite piece I love the way I made the ponytail the center focus of the piece with the array of colors and liquify tool.
